Location

In the residential area of the extensive urbanization La Sella near Dénia, this modern two-storey holiday home is located on a large enclosed private property. In addition to peace and privacy, from above it offers a fantastic view of the Mediterranean Sea, approx. 5 km away, of the mountains of the Segaria Mountains (to the west), of Dénia and the Montgo Nature Park (to the east) as well as the green plains in between Orange, lemon and almond groves.

The property is located in a particularly quiet part of the urbanization that is higher up - near the end of a dead end street that is rarely used.

In a few minutes by car you are on the coast and you have the choice whether you visit the long, fine sandy beaches in a north-westerly direction or rather the beautiful bays and cliffs to the south-east.

In the immediate vicinity there are restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies and various shops for daily needs. The Portal de la Marina shopping mall, which was newly built a few years ago and has over 90 stores, can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

The 24/7 guarded urbanization includes a 27-hole golf course, the 5-star Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa and the newly created Elite Sport Point Hotel, which offers a variety of training options (fitness studio, physiotherapy, semi-Olympic pool) which are also available for the Are open to the public. There is also a tennis facility where you can rent tennis courts or take coaching lessons and a riding stable that offers rides and riding lessons.

Surroundings

Located in the north of the Costa Blanca with approx. 320 days of sunshine per year and an annual average temperature of 20 degrees, the region's climate is considered to be "healthy". With the wide range of leisure activities, the house is an ideal starting point for a wide variety of activities. The beautiful elongated coast of Dénia consists of extensive white sandy beaches in the north (Las Marinas) and a magnificent rocky coast with many bays and inlets in the south (Las Rotas).

The port city of Dénia with over 40,000 inhabitants offers an attractive old town, around the historic Castillo with numerous streets and alleys. The multitude of shops invites you to stroll and shop. In 2015 Dénia was named the “creative city of gastronomy” by UNESCO because the diversity of the restaurants is exceptional. In addition to the cultural offerings, the harbor with its long promenade is also worth a long walk. Ferries to Ibiza (55 nautical miles), Formentera (60 nautical miles) or Mallorca (128 nautical miles) start from here. But there is also a fishing port, where freshly caught fish can be purchased every day, and other marinas for sailing boats and yachts (information at www.denia.net)

Not only from Dénia you always have the impressive natural park “Montgo” in view. This mountain has a height of 753m and extends to Cabo de San Antonio, so that fantastic views and panoramic views are possible. The nature reserve is of high ecological value and can be experienced and explored on an extensive network of hiking trails.

An excursion into the hinterland along the many orange and almond plantations, into the romantic villages and towns or the mountain ranges is also attractive. The latter are a good starting point for hiking and climbing tours. Prehistoric caves like the "Cova de les Calaveres" offer another interesting change in the region. The nearby nature reserve "Marjal Pego-Oliva", as one of the largest rice-growing areas in Spain, offers a special landscape with species-rich flora and fauna (www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zUbdD1VW3w).

The “Marina Alta” region with its capital “Dénia” is very easy to reach via the AP7 (Autopista del Mediterraneo) motorway - most of the route in Spain is toll-free. The “Dénia / Ondara” motorway junction is only a few minutes away from the La Sella urbanization, which is why the drive to the airports of Alicante and Valencia only takes about an hour.
